Resetting Expectations
A New Posting Schedule and What's Coming Next
Time opened up for me and I got too ambitious with my posting schedule. Here’s what’s changing and why.
Angel Investor Is Complete (But Still on a Biweekly Schedule)
My serial Angel Investor is finished, but I’ll be keeping a two-week posting schedule to give myself time to edit each installment properly and create promotional content around it. Good fiction deserves a good rollout.
A New Robert E. Howard-Inspired Project Is in the Works
Beyond Angel Investor, I’m developing a new project inspired by REH’s Solomon Kane. I want to be upfront: this won’t be hard historical fiction, but I do want to respect the source material. I’ll be writing an original character inspired by*Solomon Kane, not the man himself, and I’m committed to doing the research justice before I put a single word down.
I’m not going to let research become paralysis, but I’m also not going to rush it.
Native-Themed Essays Are Coming — Done Right
I still plan to publish essays on Native themes, but I want to give them the depth they deserve. That means more research time and longer writing windows. These won’t be quick takes.
Language Study Updates Will Be Collected Into a Publication
I’m also continuing my language study, and I want to document that journey in a meaningful way. A shorter posting schedule would force me to write about incremental progress before there’s anything real to say. In time I will collect these essays into a standalone publication I plan to offer across online venues.
The Bottom Line
Quality over quantity. A slower schedule means better work — and better work is what I’m striving for.
